Green Peanut Power Smoothie

This Green Peanut Power Smoothie is made for people like me who want to have the health benefits of eating large amounts of leafy green veggies and also want to eat something that tastes like dessert. It is high in protein, has awesome healthy benefits with the raw leafy greens, it’s versatile, easy to take on the go, and it’s so yummy!

With protein powder and peanuts, this smoothie is full of protein and keeps you full for hours.

I am actually so surprised that I haven’t posted any green smoothies yet – they are a staple of our lives and we have different green smoothies every day. They are a fun, delicious, easy way to start the day off with vitamins, nutrients, wellness and yumminess!

This is a wonderful green smoothie no matter what the rest of your diet looks like. Health isn’t the only reason that veganism is skyrocketing in the US and around the world. Check out my personal story of why I became vegan.

Milk

There are many yummy milk options out there: soy milk, almond milk, hemp milk, oat milk, pea milk and more. I usually keep almond milk on hand because it easily goes with almost anything I want to put it in.

My favorite almond milk at this time is the Califia Unsweetened Natural flavor (click to see on Amazon).

Protein Powder

I have a number of favorite protein powders to share with you guys. I will be doing a blog post on that soon! For this smoothie I want a protein powder that blends into the background so I use the Trader Joes organic unflavored unsweetened Pea Protein, or this Vega natural flavor protein (click to see on Amazon).

Peanut Butter Powder

This is a fun powder that you can get that is made from taking the oil out of the peanut butter. I love peanut butter. This powder really enhances the peanut flavor in the smoothie while also adding some extra protein grams. You can use the brand PB2 which is pretty well-known, but I prefer this PBFit because it is organic! (click to see on Amazon)
