Garlicy Guacamole! Vegan and Creamy

Brian and I had a guacamole and margarita mix off pool day last weekend! We LOVE guacamole and we LOVE garlic, so this recipe is a favorite of ours. This garlicy guacamole is usually devoured as soon as I set it down, so please don’t hesitate to double or triple the recipe!

Garlic Deets

Because we go through so much garlic in our household I am a sucker for the pre-peeled bags. I use the ones from Trader Joes and I’m happy with them! I’ve used the pre-peeled jars before and found the flavor to be lacking.

For dry garlic I use organic powdered garlic*.

Jalapeno Vinegar?

I know, I’ve never seen a recipe call for this either. But I love the flavor of jalapenos and I often serve people who don’t prefer the spicy side of the pepper. So I meet in the middle and add some of the vinegar from my jar of jalapenos*, which kicks the guacamole up a notch!

Guacamole preparation

There are delicious ingredients in guacamole that aren’t exposed to heat to help their flavors meld. For this reason, I like to mix up the ingredients at least 30 minutes before serving. To keep the guac from turning brown, leave an avocado see sitting atop the guacamole!

Served with Love

Dip your favorite chips, carrots, crackers, cherry tomatoes or cucumbers in for an awesome snack, or use this as a vital part of a dinner dish such as Plant-Based Fajitas!

Garlicy Guacamole! Vegan and Creamy
This creamy, delicious guacamole is heavy on the garlic and has a little spicy kick to it. It is super flavorful, full of healthy goodness, and is light enough to have by the pool on a hot summer day.

Instructions
  1. Mash avocados in a large bowl, add all ingredients and mix together with a fork. Let sit for 30 minutes with the pit in the bowl. Put the guacamole out with crackers, vegetables, or your favorite guac delivery system.
