Low histamine diets can be very healing for people with certain health complications. Low histamine diets can be very meat heavy, but I’ve found a lot of relief through a plant based low-histamine diet.
Cherries, blueberries, and pomegranate have flavonoids that are healing for people who need to build up their antihistamine bank. These flavonoids are also incredibly healthy for your gut as they are robust prebiotics. Yum.
This salad is enough to fill me up if I’m not too hungry, or I have it with a side of my fancy sweet potato if my tummy needs a bit more filling!
