Resort Review: River Terrace Inn Napa

We had a lovely trip to Napa Valley so we could deliver you a resort review on River Terrace Inn, soak in the beautiful landscape, enjoy wonderful vegan food, and spend time with friends.

Upon arrival you drive up a beautiful drive way, lined with palm trees, which loops under a grand terrace, and are greeted by valet. You walk through the doors into a beautifully decorated entry way and the front desk representative offers you wine to start off your day in Napa. Vacation has begun!

(Check out my Instagram video highlights of the River Terrace Inn and our Napa Trip.)

River Terrace Inn Rooms

We stayed in the River View Deluxe King River View room. Although Napa is lovely, the room was spacious and cozy enough to want to stay snuggled up in it for most of the trip. The room has a full makeup and hair preparation space with a wall mounted, magnifying mirror to get ready comfortably, outside of the bathroom.

The bathroom has a huge jetted tub that is two or three times the size of a standard bath, and the shower has two heads to enhance solo showers or more romantic logistics. There are premium toiletries available, and they are in large refillable containers, so they aren’t trashing the containers after each guest – really awesome for their sustainability.

They have a full minibar, a closet, a Keurig, and a mini fridge for you to store your items as well!

The room has a 6-drawer dresser that fit all of our clothes so we could unpack and feel quite at home. Our bed was very comfortable (I can sleep on anything, but Brian can have trouble sleeping, so his report of great sleep means something).

The room also has a couch with a pull out bed and a desk with two seats for your remote work needs.

Our room had a balcony that you can sit on to look out over the river running by, or people down below on the outdoor patio that is beautifully decorated with furniture, fire pits, and lights.

Electronics:

Large TV with DirectTV channels

Alarm clock with an iPhone dock to use as a speaker

River Terrace Inn Restaurant ALBA

We had a wonderful vegan meal at ALBA. ALBA has these vegan options available from their kitchen now, so fellow vegans feel comfortable going to River Terrace Inn and requesting a full vegan meal!

Here is a video of our vegan meal at River Terrace Inn’s ALBA!

Our courses included:

Here is the full dinner described!

We also were able to create awesome vegan options from the continental breakfast! There were vegan bagels, bread for toast, peanut butter, jelly, fresh fruit, almond milk, soy milk, and vegan cereal options!

River Terrace Inn Amenities

Parking is complimentary at River Terrace Inn and we were even able to charge our Tesla for free while at the hotel! They have other EV chargers as well. River Terrace Inn has high quality, adorable bicycles with baskets and locks that are available to borrow so you can cruise around Napa in style. We borrowed some bikes and popped onto the bike path across the street.

River Terrace Inn has lovely outdoor seating and lounging area next to the river.

As many of you already know, I’m able to do the most goodness after I’ve had my workout. So I was sure to stop in at the gym. Brian and I had a great workout. High end equipment such as treadmills and ellipticals with TV ability and virtual exercise routines. They have free weights, a TRX setup, BOSU balls, matts for floor work, and more.

River Terrace Inn Details

River Terrace Inn is located in downtown Napa on the banks of the Napa River and nature preserve. Just a quick walk to a multitude of attractions – the Napa Valley Wine Train, Oxbow Market, the CIA Copia property, many tasting rooms, several breweries, a variety of restaurants, and nightlife options.
